Problem with Seller

Hiya, Just wondering if eBay has a reporting system for problems where no dispute resolution report was lodged originally.

I bought an item (car replacement part), the item supplied was not what was advertised and did not fit. Corresponded with the seller, they said return item and we will replace. They confirmed parts had returned back with them and nothing since.

I would like to report to eBay that they are advertising incorrectly and misleadingly, but cannot see where to do this.

Taught me one thing tho...take out a dispute with eBay even if it looks like it can be resolved, and don't but from this bloke again!!

Thanks

Open a Paypal dispute, they will replace the item straight away or at lest you will get your money back

That will only work if the buyer paid with PayPal less than 45 days ago and sent the item back to the address that will be supplied by PayPal via registered or other trackable post..

If you are within the time frame, you may be able to open a dispute, either via eBay or PayPal, but depending on certain factors I don't know what it may achieve other than to have it on record. You are also able to report a seller for non-performance, but by all accounts very little (if anything) results from such a report these days.

Aside from that, if it is less than 60 days since purchase and you haven't left feedback yet, that is also still an option for at least alerting future potential buyers.

No...way way out of the 45days. Thought this bloke was going to do the right thing so didn't lodge a dispute. Not next time.......

Just that he didn't change his listing....so he is listing an item incorrectly.

I DID lodge a complaint with the British equivelent of fair traders tho. Not that I think that will do any good

I will probs just have to put it down to the one bad eBay experience I have had and learn from it. Next time I put in a dispute.
