I purchased the item with additional insurance, but the security camera never arrived within the specified delivery timeframe. After noticing that no tracking number was provided, I requested to cancel the order. Although I received a refund for the insurance amount, I have not been refunded for the cost of the security camera itself.

The case currently shows as "closed" with a status indicating that the seller has issued a refund. However, the refund for the security camera has not been processed into my account. I have attempted to contact the seller multiple times, but they have not responded to my messages.

I have also tried reaching out to the eBay Resolution Center, but I am unable to escalate the case through the available channels. This situation has left me without both the product and the refund for my purchase.

I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter urgently. I don't know how can I reopen the case and investigate why the refund for the security camera has not been processed.

You can re-open a case once it has been closed

As for the refund, did you check the funding source itself or only your actual bank account?

Why did you request to cancel instead of asking for the tracking number?

How long ago was this?

When an item hasn’t arrived, you must open a case on eBay through its Money Back Guarantee - not a cancellation request.

If the item is more than 30 days overdue, then you’re no longer covered by the MBG; the cover period is 30 days from the actual date of delivery (for items not as described) or 30 days from the latest Estimated Delivery Date (which is shown in the purchase details).

If you paid through PayPal, you still have PayPal Buyer Protection.
