RIPPED OFF AGAIN....

Ive been ripped off by 3 sellers over Christmas & all Ebay has done is delete my previous post because I named the seller!! Wheres the protection for buyers? I suppose Ebay will delete this post to.

This one should be safe as I don't think you have breached the Board Usage Policies.

1) It's not eBay who moderate these boards, so they haven't removed anything...

2) How did you pay for the three items you bought over Christmas? PayPal? Bank Deposit? Other?

If you paid with paypal you are protected as long as you take action with 45 days from payment date

Other than that if the payment was funded with a credit card you can go to your bank about a chargeback.

You are not allowed to name and shame here

Sorry to hear that you had several bad sellers in a row.

The easiest way not to be ripped off is to check out the seller's feedback for any issues, pay with Paypal for buyer protection, and not to let any seller (however nice) string you along past the 45 days without opening a claim if there is a problem.

i know these things from a few bad experiences along the way.

You ALLOWED yourself to be ripped off. Maybe. Given Christmas was less than 4 weeks ago - way within Paypal claim times.

You really can't expect eBay to proterct buyers from themselves. Sometimes you need to be a bit proactive. Even down to reading the avenues available to you if you don't receive your goods.
