Refund not given

Help. I have not received my earrings. The seller asked me to close the case and give them until June 20, 2022 to supply them after placing order which didn’t come . I did that and they still haven’t arrived. The seller has said they will refund my money but they haven’t. Because the case is technically closed, what can I do?

Thanks

Re: Refund not given

If you were refunded for the earrings after they were returned, outside of a dispute, you have no chance of getting the postage refunded. While you have been refunded for the earrings, you'll never be able to get a refund for the postage. You should have sent them back under a dispute, where the seller either sends you the postage money, or they refund without return of the item. Sadly, you just need to chalk it up to experience, and don't let it happen again.

Hi. I am writing to you because you kindly advised me re credit card not being accepted. This post about earrings is from a while ago and the seller has been harassing me to take it down, which I am now willing to do, but can’t find ‘ mark as concluded’ or other option like that. They keep writing to me to ‘ take it down’ because I have returned the earrings once they arrived ( they were faulty and the seller wanted me to take them to a jeweller to be fixed!) and have received a refund. So technically they are correct, the problems have been resolved. I have not yet received the refund on the postage for return yet, though they have agreed to it.

Still can’t work out how to mark this as completed. The option someone suggested is not given to me in the drop down box. Any ideas please?

I am taking it that you are referring to your feedback comment and not your posts here on the messageboard. I think it is highly unlikely a seller in India would be watching this board.

So, the seller wants you to remove your neg comment.

Do not do it.

This seller is harrassing you and deserves the neg, let it stand.

If you want to, you can always add an extra comment as follow up. I would make it something along the lines of-seller had me return faulty earrings at my own expense. I have been refunded for the item price but not for postage costs as I was promised.

That's the truth. Do not budge. Their requests to you are not your command. Tell them (if they ask) that you will remove the neg after you are refunded both lots of postage.

Personally if they then refunded the postage I would let the neg stand. They don't seem to honour promises so in this case, neither should you.

PS Because of your low feedback score, I think the seller has you pegged as a newbie who can be bullied around, Prove them wrong.

I would have thought so too, springy, but the OP mentions "mark as concluded", which would not apply to feedback. Maybe she shared the link to this with the seller to show him or her what others think.

If it is really about feedback, she could either add a reply or ask the seller to send her a revision link.
