Last month an item I purchased didn’t meet authenticity pass, eBay gave me 2 options… full refund or go ahead with purchase. I chose full refund. I purchased through Afterpay, 2 payments have been made , 2 are still waiting to be deducted.
after 4 weeks back and forth with eBay , and the worst customer service, eBay told me to call them every day!… they have said the refund has been made and on their end says successful.
no money has been refunded and I still owe money to Afterpay. I have contacted bank.
what can I do please help you as over $200 purchase.

Have you maybe changed bank accounts from what Ebay have listed? And it is going to an old account. Just a thought

Yes I have checked as I thought it might be the case. At first it was old card, I put a new one in, they said it’s successfully refunded.

From memory, he refund goes to afterpay, as to what happens from there you will need to contact afterpay.

If you get stuck you can go to the Financial Ombudsman, they have helped me on a few occasions, and you can submit a complaint online.

Not sure why you mentioned dealing with eBay - you meant the seller directly? Did you ever contact seller?
