Restricting purchase wrongfully of items due to knives

I am being restricted from buying an item branded "sord" wrongfully due to knife laws, the item is cotton so nothing like a knife, all I can think of is the word "sord" triggering some stupid red flag, Ebay needs to do better

given there are several threads on similar issues from the past several months, I don’t like your chances of anything changing anytime soon

You could try asking the seller to change the wording in the listing to remove the offending word. If that is the only reason for the restriction it might work
