Hi there,
I have eventually "won" a dispute and have to return the item.
The Address given to me is
eBay Commerce Australia Pty Ltd
The remainder of the address is just a regular domestic house in a suburb.
Is this normal/typical?
The email containing the address is legitimate and from ebay.
Any comments appreciated!

Usually if you need to return an item, you return it to the seller.
Sometimes people who sell on ebay are just.. people. They aren't running a business and so yes, their address may be a regular house in a suburb.
If you won the claim, the seller would normally provide you with a postage label & that should just have the address details already on it, I would have thought.

On the off chance this is the tool seller who last left you feedback, and even if it's not the same rules apply, the seller, who is away until 18th May, shows this in their listings:
"If the product/s are deemed faulty or defective, we will follow the manufacturer decision(their warranty terms and conditions) as follows:
Either
1. Repair;
2. Exchange the product with a product of similar condition, performance and reliability of the original;
3. Refund the purchase price of the product.
The Buyer Pay The Return Postage.
If you've opened a claim through eBay's Money Back Guarantee for an 'item not as descibed' and it needs
to be returned, the seller needs to pay for return postage, usually in the form of a tracked postage label.

Wow, good find, Casey.
Outlaw, when you said you won a dispute, I assumed you meant you had opened an official dispute through ebay and it had been found in your favour.
If that is not the case, if you mean you have been messaging back and forth with the seller about a problem and he has at last agreed to a return, then totally scrap that idea and under no circumstances send the item back yet or follow his instructions.
The best way, the safest way, to go about a dispute is to open it via ebay. You don't need to chat to the seller about it at all, he has no control over it and he certainly cannot dictate terms. That seller who left you feedback has written out a list of conditions but they are like warranties some sellers offer on ebay, just words on a screen with no standing.
The only conditions that matter are ebay's and they say if an item is faulty, open a proper claim through them. The seller will probably lose and have to provide you with a return postage label if they want the item back (some don't). You'll be fully refunded once the item gets back to them. Ebay will see to that.
All that business about getting an item repaired and so on.. that's the seller's problem. If your item is faulty, you are eligible for a full refund and address should be on the postage label.

I had a similar situation but my money is being refunded through Paypal. The item I received wasn't what was ordered. There was no return address on the envelope and no invoice inside the package. I have offered to return the incorrect articles and I'm awaiting a reply and a Return stamped envelope. Until then I'm not taking any action. Ebay Commerce's address is listed in Australia as Level 18 York Street, Sydney. However this may not be the correct address for the ebay listed one.

The item would need to be returned to the seller, not to 'eBay'
You will not get a return stamped envelope
You open and follow through with an item not as described dispute with the seller, and if the seller wants an item returned, they provide a return postage label
You need to take action in the form of opening that dispute, do not let it time out
No point in having an eBay address
The OP has been given correct information by the other members above
if you are being refunded through PayPal, that is because that is how you paid, refunds always go to the funding source
If it is from the only seller who has left you feedback, especially do not wait for anything
Their feedback is terrible and likely they will either ignore you or make up stories/false promises
You need to follow the proper process, within the time limit
