Return policy Sellers terms say they take off the cost of their postage

I have initiated a return, the seller is ignoring me

I notice that in their return policy it says

"Return postage will be paid by the buyer if it's found that the item's description was described accurately on eBay. In this case, refund will include the original price of the item, minus the cost to post the item by the seller."

It was listed as free postage Are they allowed to take their postage price off my purchase price?

Thanks in advance

How unusual - you must have a large customer base that also use eBay and know that you sell on eBay too.I have never had any post misunderstandings or issues in any of my markets on any platform by being transparent about post service charges.

We do have a lot of our customers who find us on ebay and then come to our retail outlet because we specialise in a particular range. We have had several customers from the eastern states and a couple of customers from as far away as New Zealand who have come to our shop when they are visiting WA after they have seen us on ebay.
