Returned item but no refund provided

The item supplied was very different to the item described. Item returned as per sellers request and shown as delivered by Parcel Force on 8th December 2021 yet no refund has been provided. Ebay closed the case perhaps thinking that the item was lost in the post, my enquiries with Australia Post led to the confirmation of delivery on the UK's Parcel Force website. Emails to the seller remain unanswered. Ebay does not seem to be interested. Yet I complied with the sellers and Ebay requests. I am not impressed with the seller nor Ebays wall of silence and inactivity.

When you opened the case, did the seller send you the funds to send the item back to them?

If it was not as described, you should not be out of pocket.

I assume you uploaded the tracking details into the case?

Hi there 990landy and welcome to the forum. I'm very sorry to hear of your situation.  Well, the seller's lack of response after sending emails may give an insight into what has possibly taken place. Seller may not want to take responsibility for their actions.

If you have paid by PayPal you can pop in a dispute and use your evidence of delivery and other details to strengthen your case.
