Ripped off

I bought a product which was 250ml and the seller sent me only a 100ml bottle. The postage stamp even shows a weight of 0.123kg and I have sent this to ebay. So far seller has tried everything to weasel out of supplying the item I bought and now I have to send it back for a refund and will be out of pocket for postage costs. Can I leave negative feedback now or should I wait. Trouble is, it took over a week to get it in the first place and because seller has been dragging this out I'm worried I wont get my money back or the chance to leave feedback.

No, I posted the whole of the post I was responding to as a quote.  I wasn't being selective by quoting only part of a post.

Wow, K you seem overly agressive for a simple statement. I was merely experessing my disappointment in the system where I have gone through the process and the seller is weaseling out of her obligations.

Back to the issue at hand, even if the seller did make a "mistake", it's up to her to rectify it. I agreed for the seller to send me another 100ml bottle and I'd cut my losses, but after waiting and contacting her to ask if it had been sent, she told me that no it hadn't and feel free to escalate if I was unhappy. She has also provided an address which is an industrial estate and a phone number for a liquor store - both reported to ebay. I've been asked by ebay to send the item back, but sending it to an industrial estate I doubt it will be received. I'll wait and see what happens here.

Re: Ripped off

If you have escalated an ebay dispute then ebay will instruct the seller to pay the postage if she wants the item returned for a refund.

I don't see why you are suspicious of the address being in an industrial estate....most of what the seller has sold in the past are items which could well come from a wholesaler and she has sold multiples of the same items.
