Same item, different prices on ebay.com & ebay.com.au

Wondering if anyone else has ever come across this.

I was looking at a watch from a seller in Tokyo. On ebay.com the price is 529.80USD. On ebay.com.au, exact same listing, but 582.78USD.

I had a look at some other international items and it seems the discrepancy is not limited to just this listing. Why would this be? Are they converting to Australian dollars and then back again?

GST on the import ?

Give us the item numbers, that would help.

Item number 373058018061

It could be GST! I always thought was added after but maybe it's changed, good point.

One needs to be more competitive on the US market.

I have noticed many items are cheaper on the USA site from a same seller.

Totally up to the seller what price they list at on different sites around the world.

I sometimes list a same item but more expensive on the USA site as I prefer to send locally.

It is a hell of a lot cheaper to list and sell on ebay.com   than it is on ebay.au   mainly due to the size of the market

You could always buy it off ebay.com but factor in the 10% GST on it. Nice watch though.

G'day Kopes and gutter.
