has anyone noticed the "genuine Sea Scooters" for sale

one at $899 fixed price but also two in open bidding, with bidding being made by the same unique bidder on both open items -  deliberately pushing the bid costs up and up each time

ebay, ur a disgrace if you dont stop this illegal activity - and that you do nothing about it

and the fact that we cannot  mark down the seller for what is clearly a breach of the selling / bidding rules

ebay - if it takes you this long to work out that these are false bidders then ur also at fault

Not to worry, I got to see your original post before it "vanished", and probably hundreds of others as well. I did look a bit strange that the bids appeared to be set up, but then again who would let one go for a few dollars in the first place. Sellers should be putting the absolute minimum price that would be an honest auction sale, not baiting with 99 cent starts then using shill bidders to get it up to at least what they should have started with.

What is illegal....obviously the bidder is very anxious to win the item.

Nibble bidding is not the sort of bidding that I favour, but there is nothing illegal about it.  Why do you want to mark the seller down because of the way a buyer places his bids?

How do you know they are false bidders?
