A warning to prospective purchasers of pool pumps advertised as 'self priming'...make sure you confirm they are actually self priming, one seller I've seen claims they are but the photos clearly state 'do not run dry'...when I questioned them they contacted the manufacturer and confirmed they are not self priming but all their listings still say 'self priming'
