Seller REMOVED is a thief and eBay doing nothing about it!

This seller from south Korea is definitely a thief who has taken my money without delivering the order or refunding!!! More important is, eBay is allowing this kind of of activity.

I will never shop on this platform again, and trusting any thing from south Korea.

thanks for the advice! Ya, I didn't forget the order and even asked the seller to keep me posted, who knows what is going on in their country. that seller is clearly knowing and even acknowledging what it's going on right now as I have exchanged a few messages in last two months. This doggy seller is taking the advantage of ebay policy and my trust, to earn $300 US dollar's order without doing anything.

By the way, Aliexpress has a policy to refund automatically if the seller failed to deliver in only 7 days!

I will try to contact with my bank card provider as you suggested, thankyou anyway.

AliExpress do not have an automatic refund policy. You have to wait a certain number of days and then you have to open a dispute. There is sometimes a negotiation that takes place before a seller will refund.

You can submit refund requests up to 15 days after your order has been completed (NOT just dispatched) or the package delivery deadline (60 days maximum). 

There is virtually nothing that gets delivered from AliExpress within 7 days and if the item has tracking, no seller is going to refund you until it is determined that the package is lost.

My son has an order in progress from AliExpress and cannot open a dispute until the 2nd of January.

I literally had a case with AliExpress this year, that the seller didn't respond to my order in 7 days (may be other timeframe if I am wrong), and the order got cancelled automatically and refunded. Also, I remember Taobao has a similar policy by the way.

Also, just because you ask a seller to keep you posted, absolutely does not mean that they are going to do so.

By the way, the seller is acknowledging exactly what is going on but blaming me and eBay! I used to ask the seller to still honour the sale and proceed the delivery. Unfortunately, I got no good luck with it.

The seller probably did send it out, but since YOU decided not to open a case and get resolution, there is nothing that the seller is further responsible for.

Was there tracking?

Also - if the AliExpress seller doesn't SEND your order within 7-8 days, then you will get a refund. Completely different scenario!

the seller did NOT ever attempt to send the order, using COVID as a excuse and people's trust for getting free money, simple and easy as that!

You don't know that they didn't send the order, especially if there was no tracking! They could have sent it and it got lost.

Either way, there was 100% responsibility on YOUR part to open a dispute with the time frame and NOT negotiate back and forth with the seller.  This is not how Ebay works!

Based on what you have written, you will get little sympathy on these forums and there are plenty of members who are a lot less nice about it than myself. They just haven't written here......yet.

Chalk this up to experience because there is little chance you will get your money or your item after so many months.

I have to agree all what your sayings and I will try one more attempts to ask ebay for help (already done 2 times, and someone from ebay who promised to step in, but no feedback afterward, not even a single word). I have learnt this listen from ebay and not trusting any seller from anywhere, and then delete this account.

There is zero point trying to get Ebay to assist you at this time. Customer Service cannot make the seller do anything and they cannot make the seller refund you.

The vast majority of sellers are fine, but if things go wrong, YOU have to look after your own interests and use the tools that the platform gives you to obtain a resolution. If you did that 6+ months ago then you would have had your refund and we wouldn't be having this discussion.
