Hey guys, so I put in a few offers for an item and the seller accepted the last offer... But now has put 4x the postage cost in an invoice they sent? (From $54 to $200) actually sent 3 different invoices, each new one with higher postage cost.. First invoice was $120, second was $150, third was $200. Listing postage was $54.
I've contacted the seller saying that they've increased postage by 4 times with screenshots of original $54 postage cost on the listing and another with the $200 cost.. AFAIK This is against terms as they accepted the offer right?

No seller hasn't cancelled yet and hasn't responded since I sent the message yesterday morning.

It is possible eBay did something because something was not right. Sold listings should be visible for 90 days I think. Maybe you can try contacting eBay via live chat (from the help page) to discuss the issue with them.

I'm not sure if this means anything different but the link to the page still works -

The listing was ended by the seller? That's odd. I mean, sellers can end listings, but it is not the same as selling them.

Hm alright, maybe they ended then sent the invoice? Idk if they accepted the offer or not, I just assumed they did since it said I won.
Edit - Just went through bids/offers and doesn't look like they accepted, just sent the invoice instead.

How do you end a listing - that has sold. ??

Exactly...
At any rate yesterday the item showed as sold.

Hmmm... Is it possible that the seller is trying to avoid fees by ending the listing and sending the OP an invoice? Not sure how he did that though, considering yesterday the item clearly showed as sold, and the price was in green. And other people saw it too when searching by item number/sold listings.
OP - is that item in your purchase history at all?

When a seller sends an invoice through eBay, when you go to checkout it says something like "the seller sent you an invoice". Is that the case or does the invoice come from another email address (not eBay)?

Yeah it's in my purchase history but not in my bids/offers history. Does bids/offers area show won items normally? It's not in that section if it does.
