I bought a foldable cutlery kit, the seller sends as a letter, putting only $1.40 worth of stamps, I used myparcel, but got an email from Auspost to pick up from the office because I need to pay upon pick up. So I was like **bleep**, when I got to post office, the lady showed me that the package failed to make it as a letter by a few mm I guess, and I therefore must pay $7.10 to receive the package. Which I refused as I have paid my postage to the seller. So I asked auspost to send the package back to the seller.
So what are my options? I want either a full refund and leave negative feedback because it is the seller's mistake that wasted my time because I had to go to postage office during my business hours. Or should I ask for a refund + compensation for my time for a positive feedback?
Thanks.

Just put in an item not received dispute with Paypal, there was no tracking so you will win and get a refund hiwever I probably would not leave a neg if they are a busy seller, it could have been a genuine mistake. I either wouldn't leave feedback or I would leave a pos with a marked down postage star.

Firstly, what I have highlighted is feedback extortion and is against ebay policy, which will see you in a bit of strife with ebay, and may affect your account if the seller reports you (or this thread).
What you should do is just email the seller and explain what happened, and hopefully, they will pay the extra $$ to send the item back to you without you having to pay extra.
At least give the seller an oportunity to rectify the matter.
Thats my 2 cents.

What has the size of your salary have to do with it? Making up for lack of stature perhaps?
Jane I don't think that is what they have said to the seller, just an opinion if they should leave a neg or not. I can sort of understand why they would think it was a deliberate action to save money and not a genine mistake as making mistakes is not somthing men have any comprehention of, they are always right!!!!

Seller's mistake or deliberately decision to save money, means that I had to take time off work during business hour to go to the posta office and waste time waiting in the line to pick up something that I could have gotten after work on the way home using Myparcel thing.
This is where my 6 figure salary comes in, every business hour is worth $$$ to me. Which is why I must get compensated for it. This is principle I live by, no one shall waste other men's time because of their own greed. I must teach the seller a lesson so that he does not do this to other men.
I always live by the golden rule in the Bible, "Do to others as you would have them do to you." I don't waste other men's time, and I don't like when other waste my time.

Why did you have to waste your oh so precious time to go to the PO? You could have just not picked it up then after a week it would have been sent back to the seller anyway? Obviously your six figure salary is not paid for lateral thinkig
