Seller cancelled ale of 2 items after bidding finished, saying
"Once again I apologise, however this item is no longer for sale. I was not aware I was unable to stop the auction at this late stage.
I may re-list, but if so will have a higher reserve price as it is not worth me selling so cheaply.
I am sorry for any frustration this may have caused you, but appreciate your interest."
Then she /he relisted.
What can I do?

Report them straight away to ebay for failing to live up to the binding contract. Other than that, not much you can do. Heres a tip though, DONT EVER buy from them again.

For me it would depend how new to selling they were, if they were very new then I would email them back and explain that they really are obliged to sell at whatever the end price is and should never start an auction at less than they are prepared to part with it for and that I could leave them a neg and report them to ebay for seller non performance but as they are new to selling I will let it go this time.
if they were an experienced seller I would probably just neg and report (not that ebay seem to do anything if you do), \i would also refuse any mutual cancellation so they had to pay the fvf.
