Hi all,
I need some advice about requesting a refund from a seller who is delaying delivery.
I purchased an item from a USA-based seller on February 5th and received the tracking number on the 7th.
Two weeks later, I could still see the item had not yet been dropped off at the post office, so I contacted the seller, and he replied that the item had been dropped off, but because of the bad weather, the tracking information hadn't updated yet. I knew this guy was lying to me. I've never seen tracking updates get delayed.
Another week has passed, and still, there is no information from the seller. The seller is now unresponsive, and I am getting sick of hearing all those lies from the seller and not sure when I would be able to get my item.
It's been nearly a month since I made the payment and contacted the agent through eBay chat. I was told to wait for a reply from the eBay International Shipping team, but I haven't received any contact for 3 days.
At this point, I am not expecting him to drop off the parcel. I just want my money back. Is there anything I can do other than contacting eBay's international shipping team?
Thanks in advance.
Ryan

There's nothing you can do until the final ETA has passed.
But why on earth would you buy from a seller whose feedback is in the gutter, 95.5% is just terrible.

The best idea would be to do what you can do to avoid such issues in the first place
That is, read the seller's feedback before you buy
As mentioned, this seller's feedback is in the toilet
If you buy from dodgy sellers, dodgy behaviour is the most likely outcome

If you haven't received it by 22nd April, open a return request for not received - but make sure you do so before 23rd May
