I recently purchase a coat that was supposed to be Size 18-20(AUST) wool blend. I got the coat no problem but the size was 14 and it has no wool I am sure. I used to work in textiles and I'm 100% sure it's not wool.
I gave a neutral feedback but wrote about the wrong size. Much of the neg & neutral feedback complaints are about size and quality. The seller wants to refund me $5.00 to change the feedback. They have now contacted me 4 times about it.

A neutral or a negative in these circumstances seems fair to me. I would certainly not consider revising feedback in these circumstances and suggest you inform the seller any further contact will be considered harassment and reported to ebay.

Did you contact the seller before leaving feedback so they had a chance to resolve the problem?
If the coat is of no use to you, why not open a dispute due to their error and return for a refund?
Whether to choose to accept the partial refund and edit the FB is entirely your choice and if you did make an effort to sort it out and the seller was less than helpful, then I would let the FB stand.

I should have looked at the item first, :8}
Unfortunately garments from China are notoriously small sizing,
I see there are no measurements on the listing, which is a big mistake on the sellers part,
If you consider purchasing from O/S again always ask for exact measurements, in fact if they are not stated on the listing the same should apply to sellers here as well.
Of course returning the coat is not cost effective, and their small offer of compensation would not convince me to revise.
Hopefully you can resell the coat and recoup your costs.

Chinese seller with atrocious feedback-sorry but that was a recipe for disaster IMO.Chinese size XL would barely fit a SZ 10-12 from my experience.
The money to return to China via international trackable post would be cost prohibitive so not much point in opening a dispute in this case.
JMO but forget it,let the neutral stay & either sell the coat yourself or give it away.
There is a report option at the top of every ebay message-use it & don't reply to them.

Yep,I should have checked their feedback before purchase and I most likely will try to re-sell the coat. But it should be against ebay policy for a seller to try to bribe you to change FB. I do realize I took a risk purchasing the coat regarding the size, but it does state SIZE 18-20 AUST.
I just really really liked it. Oh how I wish I was skinny again, I wouldn't be on ebay buying clothes.

No seller is allowed to try to bribe a buyer. Look for the Trust And Safety link if you want to report them - it might be in Site Map. That link is at the end of the page.
