Seller puts wrong postcode on parcel,

The seller told me I had given him the wrong post code. the parcel left melbourne arrived Brisbane sent back 5 days later, it took 14 days for the parcel to turn up ,checked addresses in my accounts ebay and paypal  they were correct  as they always have been, a machine now checks out the post codes  so 4510 will not be sent to 4506 even tho they are in the same postal service area. the seller said it was my fault. address on invoice correct, now waiting for a parcel from Sydney for 7days,,

There are always mail delays at this time of year but this year seems to be much worse. Have you had problems with other parcels?

If the seller is creating a postage label online with a system that is linked to Aus Post it will not allow a postcode that does not match with the Town/City name in Aus Post's database. I've had to check with some buyers as Aus Post doesn't seem to think they live where they do.
