I bid on and won a lpg system for my falcon.
The seller did not have a reserve.
They started the auction at 99c and even though I put a maxium bid of $120.00 a fair price I believed, I was to remove from car, I was the only bidder so I won at 99c not my fault.
Now the seller refuses to honour sale.
I beleive this is unfair as a buyer.
I have contacted ebay but dont have much faith.
I have left negitive feedback as my only recourse, just bit bummed at the experience.
Is a seller allowed to do that? Whats the point of having a reserve then?
regards peter.

Yes, it happens, especially with new sellers.
ebay Australia doesn't have reserves, only on vehicles and real estate.
The seller should have had the starting bid at a price they would be happy to sell for.
All you can do is report the seller for non performance but if they are new to selling, I'd probably cut them some slack.

The seller has sold at least 122 items so he deserves your feedback.
