Seller won't answer my questions - item isnt working and bought extra warranty

Hi, I bought a iphone in December and paid extra for warranty. Phone not working now, seller deregistered. 

Paypal wont help as as item has been used (of course!)

180 days expires in a few weeks.

seller wont reply to my email.

Where to from here?

I feel very ripped off!

If the seller is deregistered then he will not even get your messages.

A paypal dispute is based on the condition of the item when it was received, not after it has been used for a few months.

Phones and other electronics are best NOT bought online unless it's through one of the big known retailers.

Otherwise warranites are often not honoured.
