Hi everyone.
I won an item with free postage and paid with Paypal.
The size fits Australia post requirements and would cost the seller under $10 to post.
Seller now refuses to post saying he sold it as a pick up item.
He didn't and It's still showing in my purchase history as free postage.
He won't post and expects me to travel 30km to collect it.
I want the item, what can I do?
Thanks

I can't see anything you've bought since 2010 so either it was a Private listing or you used another id.
If the seller is new, they probably had no idea how to choose the option of Local Pickup only so chose free postage thinking it meant the same thing-just guessing here.
If the seller is experienced, then they probably used free postage to put their item higher up in the searches.
Either way,if they refuse to post, there is nothing you can do to force them.
Simply request an immediate refund, leave appropriate feedback & move on.

As foxette suggested, I also guess the free postage was an error when they meant pick up only.
Unless you can get the seller to agree to posting and you send them the postage cost via PayPal, not much you can do except ask for a refund. To get that the seller needs to log into PayPal and next to the transaction, click refund.
