Friday 7.45am I think possibly my Ebay parcel may have been nicked from my front door as I heard and saw courier attempting to deliver it. Think it would have been Australia post contractor (also viewed a scuffle with someone) then saw courier leave to get back into post van, went to check for parcel but no luck. Parcel from Canada, no track number. Saw somebody grab courier by his top, positive it was female attacking him . Would have been person who lives in my block of flats. Saw all this from my loungeroom window. Could anyone advise me what to do at all? I have home contents insurance. I am hoping courier put parcel back into van due to the trouble. Very very distressing. Would have run to front door but was in pyjamas. Spoke with post office this morning personally but they did not seem that concerned. Any good ideas about what I can do?

I have explained to Ebay situation and they offered me refund for 2nd item.

michelle, can you explain it again here the way you told it to eBay?

Your first post for this recent event mentioned stolen from the courier by batgirl, then it was postal employee incompetence.  I am confused.  Please explain it clearly (use point form if that helps).  Thanks

Can you please ask your seller if they are the one providing the refund

No Lyndal not stolen but apparently a mistake done by post office courier. Or rather postie not concentrating on his work and a largish disaster occuring due to lack of his concentration and stupid b..... neighbours sticking their fat noses in where they dont belong.

You must have givenEbay a different explanation to the one you gave us then. According to your OP you watched the postie leavethe package on your doorstep, then you saw your next door neighbour snatch it out of his hands, then you saw the neighbour from a few doors down carrying it in a bag. How was any- or all -  of that a "misunderstanding"?

The parcel (or satchel as it was) that was stolen from my front door a few months back, there is NO WAY I would have asked for a refund from the seller. He sent it express when I only paid for regular. He bent over backwards to get it to me quickly. He did everything right. It's not his fault some low life germ followed the delivery driver in and stole it. He completely fulfilled his obligation. That was to package it up and send it to me, which is exactly what he did.

Yes, I was out nearly $80, but the seller shouldn't have had to pay for that. That's why I am installing security cameras. Then if it ever happens again, I can go to the police with the evidence.

Either Michelle needs to install a security camera or get a PO box. If the neighbours are that batty, then a camera tells no lies. I'd also like to know the eBay version of the story because it's all smelling very fishy (or batty).

What will it be next month, witches on broomsticks stealing parcels?

Are you saying that the PO staff somehow made a mistake and you claimed on ebay?

i am afraid a camera is no good , i think these cat food thiefs are too smart ,they will know when the camera goes up and then get michelle look alike masks , so when the courier comes , the camera will pick up a michelle look alike getting the parcel.they might even be brave enough and get the parcel in there pjs.mmmm
