Shipito have lost my shipment can I claim paypal insurance?

Hi folks, I bought special valves and cables from a supplier on ebay USA and had the items sent to Shipito in Oregon to be repacked and sent to Australia. The supplier says Fedex has a signiture from a person at Shipito.
This matter has been going on for a few weeks with little help from Shipito.

If the FedEx tracking shows the item as being delivered to the original address (or the supplier can show other evidence it was delivered), then I'm afraid a PayPal claim is unlikely to be successful, as generally the coverage is only to the original shipping address provided on the payment (you may want to call PayPal and have this clarified, though - eBay expressly state that any items forwarded to a different address after the first are not eligible for the MBG, but PayPal don't say anything similar).
The only possible alternative you would have is if your payment was funded by a credit card and you can initiate a chargeback, but I would probably do that as a last resort, since it sounds like the supplier did the right thing while it's the second company that's let you down, and a chargeback will basically be a dispute with the seller (they should have seller protection if they can prove delivery to the address they were given, which it sounds like they can, but if they couldn't then the payment would be taken back from them).

I'm with Digi regarding a Paypal dispute and the chargeback, but presumably you took out insurance for that amount so maybe that's the direction to persue the problem with shipito.
Looking at their reviews it seems they can be a bit tardy with customer communication, so if they are trying to ignore the problem, (bearing in mind they've probably had an aweful lot of packages pass through their hands as it's Xmas), then possibly see if they have a facebook page and try there to "attract" their attention - it seems to work well with other companies....................
Either way, I can see you having a bit of a fight on your hands to get your items or the postage money back.

Thanks for the replies. I am inclind to cut them a bit of slack as it was Christmas time. But I am out of pocket for $840 so I expect the goods or compensation.
