Shipping from India - How long?

I bought something from an Indian seller.

It's being sent standard international.

Does anyone have an idea on how long it might take to get here?

I didn't really think it through properly I suppose, it won't take months will it ?:|

that would depend on what your seller considers ''standard''.i.e. standard airmail or standard sea mail? you should ask the seller.

do they have good DSR stars for shipping?? good feedback for quick delivery??

only the seller can tell you, and remember it may get held up here in aust. at customs/quaranteen so that can add 5-10days to whatever shipping it was sent.

really you need to communicate with your seller, no one here can tell you how they sent it.

one thing tho, if you dont have it at about 40 days after the sale, you should open a PayPal dispute for item not received (you only get 45 days to do this),,  if you still dont have it 15 days later, esclate that dispute to a claim.  (I am presuming you did use PayPal as the only safe method to pay an o/seas seller?)

robot, it also depends on their location from a capital city.

If they are far from port or air terminal, that's where the time will lengthen.

I have had something from India in less than 10 days, and a very very thankful seller.

You're preaching to the choir.. Robot already knows all that stuff.. I think he was hoping that someone would know an average shipping time from India.. Some other poster might know..

Also PayPal is pretty much the ONLY way to pay an overseas seller

I've bought a few items from India and received them all within 3 - 4 weeks.

Depends on the service the sender is using but for 'ordinary' signed for about 3 to 4 weeks.

Thanks guys. Their stars are 4.5 for shipping and they have one neg & a few neuts but none of those are for shipping time.

Yes I paid by paypal. I googled the location and wiki says it's a city that is well connected by rail, road and air. So hopefully it's not too long.
