Considering my current diet, home-made rat food would probably be a little too refined for my tastes
@redders... I've seen a couple of vids of pet rats that almost made them seem cute (there's one floating around of a rat fetching the owner a tissue when they sneeze, which they were trained to do but still *almost* cute), but I brace even just half-thinking about a rat coming anywhere near my shoulder, lol.... just nope.
I'll take 5 kitties any day though, I really miss having one - I got to take care of a really young stray earlier in the year for about 6 weeks until I found a home for it - he was the most timid thing ever and took about a week before he would let me touch him, but was so lovely. Now I live vicariously via Neko Atsume (it's the only game-like mobile app I've downloaded
)
