You're not talking to eBay here just members like yourself...............

If you're using Firefox or Chrome download adblock plus (it's already set to install with Firefox), that will get rid of the majority of ads, I believe it can be downloaded to IE as well but nobody in their right mind uses IE particularly for eBay.

Skip home page.

Get chrome, then sign into My ebay and add it to the favorites.

Every time you open the browser select the favorite and it will by-pass the home page.

Just go to your my eBay page and bookmark it. Then you only have to click on the bookmark when you want to go to eBay and bypass all the carp on the front page.

I do, but only for the forums. Only because both Chrome and Firefox are logged into my selling accounts all the time. I'd never use it for anything else eBay related because it's too unstable.

I use it for the boards too, like you I am using Chrome and Firefox for my main selling ids plus Opera for the 3rd then I have the UK site open on Safari.

I often wonder why my life is so complicated Smiley Wink

I find uBlock a much better option than Adblock, and its open-source

Re: Sick of getting advertising on my home page

Adblock is free and does a good job. That's open source enough for me.
