Purchased an SD Card a few days ago.
Asked the seller when it might be posted.
Bear in mind this is a tiny object and it was to be sent ( free ) by ordinary post.
'Your order was sent promptly after payment was cleared.
However, it was damaged during transit by the courier and was returned back to us.
We have since dispatched a new one to you.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Is it just me or would others think this explanation a little odd.

Technically, the minimum an SD card should cost to post is $1.20 (as a large letter), as even though they're small, they're also rigid and a small, standard letter's contents are supposed to be flexible due to the machinery used to sort them.
On the plus side, SD cards are considered documents, so they can be sent as an express letter, unlike other items of a similar size (eg a coin - can go as a large letter but not as an express letter).
