Re: Sudden overdue delivery surge

I don't buy much but most of the parcels I send seem to be getting delivered very quickly with many feedback mentioning the speedy delivery.

Re: Sudden overdue delivery surge

If you are expecting parcels from Mainland China, this time of year is their big time of celebration, where citizens receive 7 consecutive days of holidays (Chinese New Year). Prior to and following the holiday period, the mail system banks up shockingly, causing significant delays. I never order anything from China leading up to their Chinese New Year. I will make purchases in early January but will elect to pay extra for Express Post to ensure arrival within 7 days. Most eBay stores in China do post a warning with a cutoff date for ordering prior to the Chinese New Year.

Re: Sudden overdue delivery surge

thanks for the replies, two of the orders date back to the 27th and 30th December. At least it doesn't seem to be a common problem.

Re: Sudden overdue delivery surge

Yes, please chase up your sellers asap - personally I would not have left it this long - Oz mail within a week, in general UK and US mail 2 weeks or less and China mail can take 4 weeks. Good luck!

Re: Sudden overdue delivery surge

my one case has now been under review for 16 days, is this normal? It relates to a seller who is no longer on ebay and did receive a lot of "non-receipt" feedback before disappearing. Do I need to call them and when?

I have bought a couple of things lately and have been really surprised at how quickly they have come. Within Aus.
