I don't buy much but most of the parcels I send seem to be getting delivered very quickly with many feedback mentioning the speedy delivery.

If you are expecting parcels from Mainland China, this time of year is their big time of celebration, where citizens receive 7 consecutive days of holidays (Chinese New Year). Prior to and following the holiday period, the mail system banks up shockingly, causing significant delays. I never order anything from China leading up to their Chinese New Year. I will make purchases in early January but will elect to pay extra for Express Post to ensure arrival within 7 days. Most eBay stores in China do post a warning with a cutoff date for ordering prior to the Chinese New Year.

thanks for the replies, two of the orders date back to the 27th and 30th December. At least it doesn't seem to be a common problem.

my one case has now been under review for 16 days, is this normal? It relates to a seller who is no longer on ebay and did receive a lot of "non-receipt" feedback before disappearing. Do I need to call them and when?

I have bought a couple of things lately and have been really surprised at how quickly they have come. Within Aus.
