There are no 0 FB bidders and I can't see that there been any retractions either. The item number provided is for a bunch of PS3 games yet you state 'item' singular above, even though I can see that you've been bidding on that listing.

Are you perhaps bidding on a number of similar items and have supplied the wrong item number?

You are talking about shill bidding which is a crime.

If I suspect this I always check on bid retractions as shill bidders don't want to win and if it's suspicious I walk away.

One retraction might be explainable but, say, 24?

As a matter of interest bid retraction cause sellers serious problems and can cast doubt on the veracity of the auction.

Re: Suspected shill bidding

The fact they are bidding immediately makes it less suspicious, it means they would have to be sitting at their computer waiting to up their bid as soon as another one came in, far more likely that somebody else put a maximum proxy bid in and it automatically increased the price until you outbid the proxy.

No idea why as an experienced member you would nibble bid on an item anyway.
