I am trying to purchase an item already in my cart but the promo code box is not there. There is only a "Gift Cards, Vouchers" box in my cart which of course does not accept my coupon code. It was not a straightforward purchase; I had to "Commit to buy" first, rather than just making payment immediately, which is what I always do. I have this problem on both my android app and the desktop site. The buyer accepts payment by Paypal so coupons should be applicable. I have used several promo codes in the past with no problem. I have committed to buy the item so I can remove it from the cart then return it and try again (this doesn't help) but I can't start the process from scratch as I do not want to commit to a second purchase.
Is there a reason the box is not offered or has it been moved?
