hiya folks...
I bought and paid for two items from the same seller. We agreed on combined postage before any bids.
The seller took 4 days to send me the invoice, which i had to email him and ask.....
(postage would have been $30, but he only charged me $27) (still not cheap by anyones wallet...)
Then about 5 days after that i emailed him again and asked if he had posted it yet... then he replied "yes"
I waited a week, no parcel.
So on Tuesday this week, I tried to open a INR but ebay said to wait until 10/10/15... so i emailed seller and told him. He then gave me a tracking number and said that his PO said it should have only taken a couple of days.
I have waited until today. Still no item. I have now put in the tracking number and it says delivered!
Arrgghhh but i dont have any parcle.
I work away, and i dont get home most days until after 6pm.
I have not had anything on my front veranda nor have i been carded to collect a parcel from the after hours at the PO.
I live in a really good area where folk wouldnt just steal it from my veranda if it was left there....
I emailed the seller again.....
Im not sure what to do now. If i open a INR, and seller prooves it was posted with tracking number, wont that mean I wont win?
All up, im out almost $60.
But then at the same time... its unfair on him too.... Im lost about what my next step is now and your help would be most welcomed.
Thanx Folks... TIA
xx Jane

Contact AP they have more extentive tracking than shows on site, they should at least be able to track it to driver/route. It could have either been delivered to wrong address or taken off doorstep.
Either way Seller hasn't done anything wrong, as long they cporrectly imported address from Ebay checkout. Do you know if the used ebay labels/click and send or manually adressed it.
Goes without saying that your check out shipment adress is current?

Firstly before you open any dispute.......As the parcel says delivered it is up to you to chase it up with australia post. Only you can do this. Ring them give them the details and the tracking number and they will do a search for it. They usually turn up I might add.
Edited to add you will lose a dispute with ebay paypal

My address in ebay and paypal are correct.
I dont know if seller used click and send or ebay lables or manually addressed the parcle. Does this make a difference?
I went to contact AP online but the site want me to sign up to an account.. and i dont want to! So im not.
Like i said, i dont get home until A/H each day, from work......
I know this is not the sellers fault, but its hardly mine either..........

I'd probably give the details to Australia Post and get them to do a search.

So i will lose a INR dispute?
Hardly fair to be $60 out of pocket and no items...
.... and i understand the same goes for the seller too.....
catch 22 case right here............

If a parcle has tracking, does that mean someone has to sign for it?????
TIA xx

Only if it's specified as "Signature on Delivery", otherwise, no, it doesn't have to be signed for.

Registered yes but just tracking then no as it can be left in the post box

hi have a very good look around ,last week i found a card on my driveway , under a car , so its blown from who knows but once it got under the car it stoped it from blowing next door or where ever, and yes we have a locked mail box , even check if you have bushes, just in case. good luck anyway but i think if it was carded it might say that on tracking , who knows what they do these days.
