Trying to browse and buy but often defeated/annoyed by postage contradictions

Twice today, and I suppose has happened in the past, I have been about to bid/buy when I notice that the postage terms are different in the description:

The first one is listed as Free Postage, with the free postage sticker across the photo, not pickup, but down in the description it says this is not free postage but ebay doesn't allow zone postage any more ?????? and so the postage for your area is $26

The next one has postage as $10.00 but in the description it says "I will post for $25.00"

I find this so annoying - is it allowed?

No!,it's not allowed.

Those are the type of sellers that eBay have used as an example for everyone to state "free postage" in all

listings.

From the 6th of May all sellers will be charged a 9.9% FVF on postage so this type of postage piracy is

supposedly stamped out,stubborn_smiley_by_mirz123-d4bt0te_zps12f1a5a3.gif

You can report those listings via the report link above the item number.

Listing practises > other listing practices > Postage related charges.
