i contacted the seller but never got aney resolution to the problem so am very disapointed about the hole deal cheers maurice dean.

If you were not happy with the resolution from the seller you could have opened a paypal dispute for Item Not As Described.

I am guessing that it is too late for that, seeing as you asked your original question a month ago....you only have 45 days to open a dispute. 

If the payment was funded with a credit card you can ask your bank about a chargeback but you will still have to return the item to the seller at your own expense by a trackable method.
