We would like to thank Paypal for their support during a recent failed purchase where the seller went broke without supplying our order.
Due to the supplier's 4 to 6 week delivery terms this automatically put us outside Paypals terms for a dispute, however after their investigations there was no hesitation with reimbursing our money ($1,500.00) We were obviously very pleased with the result given we thought we had no chance at all of getting our money back.
We highly recommend the use of Paypal and will always use their services in the future.
Again cannot thank Paypal enough for their help and support and how quickly it was done.

If you need to open a dispute,you have 45 days in which to do so.After you open a dispute,you then have another 20 days in which to escalate to a claim.
Thats how Paypal works so you obviously followed correct procedure-congratulations on actually following it unlike some who just wait & wait & end up with no money & no item.

As OP stated they had gone over time for a dispute, definitely a good outcome. But not necessarily one anybody should rely on.
