I see a lot of bikes advertised as vintage and they are just mass produced rubbish a lot of bike manufacturers and many bike shops would buy in frames from overseas Japan China Indonesia etc, fit it with components and sticker it as theirs many steel clunkers getting passed off as vintage are actually very ordinary steel frames
Do your research before buying to avoid the pitfalls associated with the word Vintage!
Also oddly ebay has brand new bikes listing as Vintage.
