Vitamix- Is this too good to be true?

I came on looking to buy a Vitamix and as I expected they range in price from $700-$1000. Then I saw that a brand new seller has 8 on sale for $299 each!! Do you think it is a fake? Should I be alarmed that it is new seller with no history/feedback and the item is so cheap?

I would not purchase this item from a seller without substantial history of feedback.

If the price seems too good to be true, then it probably is.

Sorry to be the bearer of not such good news.

Put the items on watch and see what happens. See if they sell and see what feedback they get, if any.

Yup, agree, as outlined in above post, f it seems too good to be true then it is too good to be true.

Thanks guys. I should probably buy it from Myer then I will know that I am getting the real thing (I hope!) and plus it will earn my some points.

I will keep an eye on this item and see what happens.

Is the vitamix the same as the thermomix  because i know 2 people already who sell them and the other day my husband sent me an email that they were having a 12 month interest free sale. If you are intersted email me and i will forward you the email.  Im sure in every state the the promo would be on.
