Waiting for shipping cost!

I was interested in an item but it did not have shipping cost so I asked the seller for a cost. They replied with "You will have to go through GSP to get cost" (which I have heard before from other sellers occassionally). You could also put a bid on this particular item. I bid on item and it was accepted.Now I can't get shipping cost from seller after messaging them for the cost. It has been over 2 days now. Hmmm.

seriously Michelle you create so many problems for yourself. If you couldn't get a shipping cost in the beginning why on earth did you think placing a bid on an item was going to change that. 

You should have moved on to another seller if you couldn't get a price.

I ended up getting the item very cheap. I will see by tomorrow if seller has added ship cost but I dont like my chances actually.

Getting things cheap is not worth the aggravation sometimes. Paying a bit more for a smooth, easy hassle free transaction is better in my opinion.

I see you have been buying from the USA from sellers who say they may not post to Australia.

If it is one of those items then you should know better than to even bid/buy from them as the transactions usually go pear shaped or at least cause us a headache.

The seller did not send me ship cost in the end as they explained some of the items had been damaged due to flood in their storage area. (These were packets of pet treats)2 packets damaged the other 3 still saleable. So they said we can send you 3 packets but postage was expensive or I could cancel order.
I said cancel order.
Got reply stating, will do.
Still no response again from seller after that.
Had unpaid item (as well) pending against me (this was over a week ago) then today lo & behold Ebay have recorded an "unpaid item" against me. I will call them and ask to have it removed.

The first strike does not have any effect on your account Michelle.

It is only if you get any more that you may have trouble buying from sellers with their blocks in place.

Why didn't you answer the dispute when it was first opened?

Seller would not provide shipping cost and hardly would answer my emails and was slightly misleading.
I asked them to do a cancellation and they replied Yes but did not follow through with it.
