Very, very good idea not to buy things like a phone off an eBay seller (especially since many are fakes from dodgey oversease sellers)

I am surprised you though, ebay almost always side with the buyer no matter what

What kind of dispute did you open?

In any case, like I say, very good to hear you will buy from a proper, authorised seller next time

There's the answer 'some time ago'

Seems as though the MBG ran past 30 days.

I was'nt sure if the OP was reflecting on what happened some time ago, or if they had bought some time ago but not tried to use it until 'recently' and then it lasted four days

Or if they had also tried Paypal (or if it was some time longer than 6 months ago)

Going by the feedback it must have been between 6-12 months.

JMO but buy a cheap one from Coles or Woolies that comes with free credit-sometimes the cost can be as little as $5 as they practically give them away when they're superceded by newer models lol

a mate with very high knowledge of phone sales etc said to me most ebay phones are factory seconds in which the sellers buy in bulk for a 1/4 of the true price in stores. then they make a killing by selling these shi# things as new on greedbay. DON'T BUY M PHONES FROM GREEDBAY..pay a little extra for peace of mind from a store like OW....

and i might add......same goes for 12 volt solar panels sold on greedbay...you will see they usually list them as grade A....unknowingly to buyers, grade A means factory seconds not a true grade A product...eg,a 100w 12v solar panel can be bought on greedbay for around $60....go to a store and you will find they are priced around $200 or more..the $60 solar panel will die around 6 months to 2 years. store bought panel will go for at least 20 years or more...

What do you hope to achieve by referring to ebay as greedbay?

There is no evidence that ebay is complicit in what the sellers are doing and it rather looks like sour grapes on your part.
