What do I do when I think site is shonky,having already paid for an item,emailed them as no :in transit' action on tracking number, received no reply and site appears to have closed down.

What do you mean by "site appears to have closed down", Does it say thet the seller is "no longer registered" on their feedback or that they no longer have any listings? And what does their feedback look like? Where is the seller registered (shown on their feedback) ?

 If the seller is not replying to emails then after the last ETA of the parcel you can open a case with eBay's MBG for "item not recieved" to get your money back.( So long as you paid with Paypal).
