Hello all, I bought a gamecube AV cable and used it on a gamecube that I have never used before and the screen had graphics distortion so I thought it was the gamecube and bought another complete set gamecube with original av cable, the original cable works with no fault on both consoles so I threw away the cheap $3 av cable, I told the seller to not worry about a refund they asked if I wanted another cable I said no - they are bad quality, I have no problems with them but how should I give a feedback for this bad quallity item I dont think others should have to buy the same garbage to then waste time and money, do I leave a bad score or netural score?
Shaun.

You have the option of leaving no feedback at all - it's an entirely voluntary system. This would probably be my choice given that the seller offered to replace/refund and it was your choice not to bother. Who's to say it wasn't one dud cable?

First thing you should do is go out and buy a lottery ticket as you are extremely lucky. The cheap cable just didtorted your screen image, it could very well have fried your equipment, caused an electrical fire or killed you with an electric shock. Have you not seen all the recent publicity about the dangers of usig these cheap cables, chargers etc that are purchased on-line and from cheapo stores and stands.

Holy poop I dont watch tv so thanks for the headsup on bad cables, i dont think it is just a one off bad cable as they are made very cheaply I can tell by the thickness of the cable and how lite it is, they got back to me to offer a refund so I took the offer for $9 including postage but what im feeling concerned about is the other people who buy them.

All you can do is leave a neg. Unfortunately far too many people are prepared to risk life and limb to save a few cents. If you buy cabes from a legitimate, Australian registered business then should there be any problems because a product is substandard or counterfeit you can at least sue them for consequential loss, not somethng you can do if you buy from a Chinese warehouse or a dropshipper.

Geez CQ, everyone knows AV = alternating voltage.
It has nothing to do with audio or video or any other such nonsense LOL
