What happened to using Paypal balance ?

I actually bought something- woohoo ! So why wasn't my Paypal balance used ? There was NO option to use it.

i was told we have no choice paypal balance first unless your funds havent cleared...

Money is still there and has been sitting there for around 2 months. There was NO option to choose Paypal balance, that's why I'm asking. 🙂

I always thought it was automatic for your paypal balance to be used before your bank account or CC although you could override it if you really wanted to.

paypal cash is always used first no option given.

the only option is between bank or card if account is dry.

just a glitch, withdraw the cash why let them get the interest...

If your account hasn't been active for a while I think it reverts to safe mode otherwise it normally uses PayPal balance first.

There should, anecdotally, have been an option to choose funding source. But my purchases always have come out of PP funds, so I have NFI really.

Sooooo, Paypal glitch is general consensus ? Pfff and double pffft then as I wanted to use my balance.

Would it have anything to do with buying from a German seller or just pure coincidence ?

That's a possibility  as German Sellers don't need to offer Paypal.

Did your Seller offer it as an option?
