What is going on with Australia Post?

When purchasing items the last stop before receiving them was Chullora then onto my local depot

but now the parcel has ended up at East Wagga Wagga.

Has anyone else noticed this is happening to their parcels.

My parcel has now gone way past my town and now needs to come back and now the estimated date will

be surpassed.

When and why the **bleep** has Wagga Wagga come into the travelling path anyway?

Wake up AP you're starting to **bleep** me off Woman Frustrated

Yep, one of my items has fallen into the "untouched by human hands" automated black hole that is Chullora lol

Been scanned through there 3 times since arrival Monday last week; the seller has gone through the "yes it was addressed correctly and clearly" formalities and is currently waiting until the 7-10 business days have passed until he can formally get the "case" moving. If in fact that is possible...I kinda have my doubts Smiley Tongue.

Re: What is going on with Australia Post?

I bought an item from Melbourne two weeks ago. It arrived today. I only live 120 Km from Melbourne, takes me 1 and a half hour to get there. I get items from China faster than items from anywhere in Australia.

Australia Post is now slower than in horse and buggy days.

We should all complain on their official sites and on Malcolm Turnbulls site, perhaps even on our local members site.

Australia Post loosing money????

How come they can afford to pay their CEO AU$ four million per annum? For that kind of salary I could provide an excellent and outstanding Postal service.

You said it, lind.

AP's CEO Ahmed Fahour is Australia’s highest-paid public servant...compare his salary witn the head of USPS and Royal Mail, respectively:

By comparison, Megan Brennan, the head of the US Postal Service, was paid $590,112 ($US415,291) in 2015. Moya Greene, head of the UK’s Royal Mail, was paid $3.08 million (£1.52 million).

Re: What is going on with Australia Post?

I must be one of the lucky ones as I've had a pretty good run with AP lately. I bought something located in Sydney on Friday, parcel was in Sunshine West by Sunday, and it arrived at my place in Stawell first thing Monday. Regular tracked post. I couldn't believe it. Hopefully AP's getting their act together.

Re: What is going on with Australia Post?

I've just been advised that my parcel has officially been lost and that I need to contact the seller and ask them

to make an official enquiry.

AP you are a joke Woman Mad

Like another poster said they could have drove to the depot and picked up the parcel,I could have done that also,

all it would have took was a 45 minute drive for crying out loud and not the 2 weeks just to get told it's now lost **bleep** gggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Re: What is going on with Australia Post?

my brother recieved an email from AP 2 days ago informing him he had a parcel waiting collection....

at a PO 300 kilometres away from where he lives!

so he tries looking up said PO's phone number, when he calls it gets a 'this number is not in service' message.

ok, plan 2, call AP customer service, after waiting the usual period, had to shave several times. gets a rep on the phone, explains his problem, they guy looks up the details,

yep yep, thats correct parcel awaiting collection at PO 300 kilometres away, why cant you collect it? DOH!

brother asks can he get a working phone number so he can ring and ask for the parcel to be redirected to the PO where he lives.

oh no sir, their phone number is marked as not to be given out.

well can you, the customer SERVICE man call them and get it redirected.

oh no sir, thats outside our ability! DOH! DOH!

so what will happen if i cant collect it asks brother. oh it'll be returned to sender most likely.

is there anything else i can help you with sir? um, you havent HELPED with this yet.

i'm sorry sir there is nothing i can do.

CUSTOMER SERVICE ? what a joke.

when i last spoke to my brother he had been into our local PO and they are attempting to find a cure for this problem, much friendlier that the AP Customer Service.

Definitely agree Sunshine West is Victoria's postal black hole.  I watched a purchase I made track backwards and forwards from Sunshine West to the wrong post office twice until in the end I phoned AP customer service and asked them to do something before it was delivered to the wrong post office for the third time.

Currently I've got a parcel supposedly 'in transit'......since Monday.  It's supposed to be transferred to a PO only 5km away and it might be (I'm going to phone them again tomorrow) but it could just as easily be stuck somewhere at Sunshine West.  Wouldn't it be nice if AP updated their tracking once and a while.

What's going on with Aust Post?  God, where do we start?  Efficient and accurate service are a lottery, that's what.  Unfortunately this time I didn't get the winning ticket.
