Makes it harder to do the lightening fast, last 6 seconds bid!
The only way to do it now is to click on the number of bids and keep hitting the refresh button, then using that page to make your bid from... meh! I know it's annoying but I do so enjoy that last... got it!

Just wondering.... Does anyone else around here get a kick out of bidding at the very last possible second?
Or... Has anyone else noticed that eBay no longer gives us that last minute of the auction, countdown option?
And do you give a rats arse anyway?

The countdown timer is working for me. I specifically just watched a listing countdown to check it after reading your OP. That was on the listing page & not on the number of bids page, & also did not have to refresh the page.
If it's of any relevence, I'm using Linux & Google Chrome browser, but it also worked in Firefox.
Yes, I manually snipe within 5 seconds of auctions ending, when I don't use BIN.

Thanks for the reply falconsportpack,
Did you already have a previous bid on the item?
I have no idea what Linux is but I have Window 7 and Google Chrome browser.

The countdown is working OK for me. I use Firefox and it makes no difference whether I have placed a previous bid or not.

It's a conundrum I tell you, because I can't get the countdown to work!
