Hi, I purchased an advent calendar last week and the seller emailed me a message advising it was damaged and would I accept a refund. With further emails back and forth I am getting no where. They asked me to send photos of the damage etc. just confusing as they said it was damaged-not me. I requested a refund and they have ghosted me. Purchased 13/12/24

One day after the Last Estimated Delivery Date you should open a case for Item Not Received & follow all steps to obtain a refund. Use the eBay Money Back Guarantee... see the link.

The seller is playing games with you
As advised, open and follow through with an item not received dispute as soon as the system allows
Do not keep going back and forth, the seller is trying to make you wait until it is too late to open a dispute
Do not take any notice of any more excuses they may send you

Thank you ๐ so I just have to wait until after the date it says it will be delivered first?
it says estimated delivery:
Thurs, 19 Dec - Tue, 31 Dec
so I have to wait until 1st January to dispute it?
Thanks again!

Correct. Unless you negotiate with the seller for the refund they offered.

You should wait until after 31st December to open a dispute if the item still hasn't arrived. Use the eBay Money Back Guarantee to get your refund. Donโt waste time with more emails if the seller is not responding.
