I bid on a fish tank last weekend, got outbid, then on thursday I got a second chance offer, which I accepted, send email to seller asking when to pick up, he said saturday morning, so I sent email saying time and asking him for his address.....didnt hear from him, have sent another two, still nothing.
So, my husband has now found on ebay a fish tank that he likes and is BIN........what I want to know is, where do I stand in regards to the second chance offer?

I would call him now and say that he either lets you come and get it today, or forget it. If you wait you may miss out on the other tank.

I rang, he didnt answer.
I have sent an email to ebay, so will see what they say.
Will never do a second chance offer again.

Emails to eBay get standard cut and paste replies.
If you want an answer today you need to ring them today.

Purple_Haize - Don't let one bad experience stop you from considering any further second chance offers. Sometimes, they are legit and can be great for hard-to-get items.

I have heard from ebay and the transaction has now been cancelled.
Wont go down that road again.

Purple, it was a pick up item...I presume you were going to pay cash on pick up?
You are perfectly at liberty to refuse to pay and walk away if the item is not as described. The seller could not hold you to anything and you would not get an unpaid item strike.

i thought a seller can only offer a second chance offer if they opened an unpaid item dispute and was closed after four days if the winner still didnt pay?

i'd still consider second chance offers Purple, but not from that seller.

No, seller can offer 2nd chance offer immediately. Some people do that when they have several of the same item.
BUT if they have only 1 item and they want to offer 2nd chance, they should only do it after the NPB dispute is closed.
