Why Does eBay make it so hard to report the Ryobi Scam ?

New Ryobi  items are only sold buy Bunnings  and has been this way since Bunnings bought the company  that are the Australian Distributors.

eBay sellers are advertising  new Ryobi items for sale and a lot more expensive than at Bunnings even before you add postage.

But when you buy from these sellers  you are buying 2nd Hand Items  and you don't receivie the Bunnings receipt so you have the warranty, you can't take it into your local bunnings  and your only chance  of a warranty  is you paying very expensive postage to send it back to the seller so he can take it back to local Bunnings.

How is this a unique 'scam'?

ANY item of ANY brand  that is not sold by an authorised seller/re-seller of the brand has no warrany

Are they really second hand and the listings claim otherwise ?

Buyers does not have to pay if they believe the price is a rip off

To add, if it is a genuine concern to you (rather than you just 'don't like the listings' contact Bunnings and/ or Ryobi

Maybe they will get VERO involved

There is a link to report the item on every listing.....just above the item number.

I did notice that most of the batteries are FOR Ryobi.....not Ryobi brand.

There is nothing illegal about the refurbished items either.
