Why can't we have item location displayed in the search results of each item when it's in my country

I'm in Australia and it is a big place and "Free Local Pickup" is NOT a good result. If the item is in another country like USA, China or UK, it is clearly displayed, which helps. I often look for low value items which there may be 300 search results that are in Australia. It is a waste of my time having to click on each item to see the location details. With Aus Post being so expensive, post is not an economical option in nearly all cases, so I'm NOT buying it. I would like to see the item location displayed up-front please, like for China, UK and USA. If local Pickup is available, then please display item location in search results so we are not wasting time.

Or set the search results on the left hand side of the page to x number of km from your post code

Simply search/sort by using  DISTANCE: NEAREST FIRST  problem solved and no need for ebay to adapt for you.
