dave, I think you misread the post . . . . part of it was . . . .
"I did however have a recent horrendous experience with a seller from China & am now reluctant to puchase outside of my country"
. . . . . . which means your post should have said . . . . .
"A bad experience with ONE colours your attitude to the rest of the world ?"
Now, that kind of reaction to a bad experience with a seller from China would be an over-reaction.

Its a shame as prior to this I didnt have any issue with purchasing from China but one bad experience does turn you away. Especially when Ebay doesn't want to know about it & wipe their hands of issues. If a seller from any country is getting the same repeated negative feedback then surely they should be banned or at the least invesigated as an individual no? Ebay continue to let bad people trade as they continue to make money & when someone complains? Well they wipe their hands clean & say "hey we just provide the site for people to trade".
They actually say that well before somebody complains.
It is written in the User Agreement that you said you read and then agreed to when you first joined eBay.

Please everyone I have already said I am out. I apologise if I have offended anyone, it was genuinely never my intent. If I could delete my comments I would because I wish I had never got involved. I wasn't clear in what I wrote & my reasons behind not buying outside Australia are due to me recently being scammed & with only 45 days to lodge a dispute, the time frame to buy internationally is too tight for me to risk again (1 month ETA on shipping). That is my personal experiece & my reasons are not due to racism but practicality. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions but can you please just all move on and accept my apology and leave me alone? This was my first experience on this forum & will be my last as it has left me feeling sick to the stomach. Again if I have offended anyone I sincerely apologise & beg you to please just leave it alone now.

Bloody meanies! lol
Just a thought- if you haven't received your item in 45 days, you should open a INR case. You then have a further 20 days in which to escalate the claim. In conclusion that is 65 days, plenty enough time for an item to arrive, no matter whereabouts it is located.
Honestly, don't let anyone get you down, their opinions is not yours after all.
